But i hope you all are educated or at least aware of the black infant mortality rate or maternal mortality rate in your area or old rates that you came across. It's pretty high in terms of comparing them to other passable races and individuals. You might not want to admit it but black newborns are 3x more likely to die in the care of white care providers.

That disparity dropped significantly when the doctor was Black, although Black newborns nonetheless remained more likely than White newborns to die.

Cops stay killing Black people + our Healthcare system is killing our Black birthing people. It is systematic racism, we need black midwives, black doulas, black nurses, black OBGYNs.

You are a PRIORITY in my eyes even if your care provider doesn't see you as such in comparison to their white patients. I know your pain isn't taken seriously starting from pregnancy throughout labor, i empathize with you.
